How durable is the turf under heavy foot traffic?
Our sporting turf is built for repeated, high-intensity use, with reinforced fibre and commercial-grade backing that maintains performance for 15 to 20 years. High-intensity zones like service lines and court centres may need infill replenishment over time, but the surface itself holds up without degrading or compacting. Correct sub-base preparation is what determines long-term durability more than anything else. We assess your site before installation to make sure the base is built to handle your traffic load.
What maintenance is required?
Minimal and predictable: remove debris after use, hose down weekly, apply a diluted cleaning solution monthly, and brush the pile upright quarterly to prevent compaction. An annual inspection of the sub-base, edges, and infill levels keeps everything performing as it should. No mowing, watering, or seasonal restoration is needed.
